In order to maintain a high level of customer service and keep their operations running as smoothly as possible, FSL counts on their communications infrastructure to be up and running at all times. However, in mid-2012 they encountered a problem: one of the phone lines in their St. Louis office started sporadically experiencing poor service – audio cutting in and out, crackling, and poor quality.

Jared was able to seamlessly deploy the new VoIP system for FSL and their three sister locations (Cape Girardeau and Jefferson City, MO + Quincy, IL), as well as a single remote worker living in Iowa. In order to make the transition as smooth as possible for their employees, Jared had them place their new Internet-connected desk phone next to their old landline phone to practice using the new device. Since the physical differences between the phones were miniscule, the employees adapted quickly and then got rid of the landline phones and service altogether.

After the new VoIP system was up and running, the benefits were evident: their new phone bill was less than $250/month for all four offices, compared to over $1,000/month using the legacy phone system. That’s over $750 saved every month!
